With the construction industry's tight labor market, it can be not only difficult to find skilled workers, but also challenging to find good employers. To that end, IRONMARKETS is again hosting its Best Contractors to Work for in Construction award, which recognizes top construction employers.

ForConstructionPros.com, the largest construction network in North America, has opened submissions for the 2024 Best Contractors to Work for in Construction award ̶ a research-driven program from the Best Companies Group that examines a company’s best practices, programs, and benefits, while surveying employees for their perspective.
The recognition program, brought to you by IRONMARKETS, ForConstructionPros.com and its affiliated construction brands (Equipment Today, Asphalt Contractor, Concrete Contractor, and Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction), aims to honor the top construction companies that provide a positive workplace environment, competitive compensation, training, and opportunities for advancement.
To be considered, employers need to register, and employees need to complete an in-depth survey, providing feedback about their employer.
Eligible construction companies must have 15 full- or part-time employees working in the U.S., and the company’s primary business activity has to be either general building construction, earthmoving, paving, concrete or specialty and trades, such as underground, utility, electrical, HVAC, demolition and others.

Entry forms and surveys will be handled by the Best Companies Group, which analyzes the data and creates an insights report based on the results.
Employers must register their company by July 19, 2024 for a chance to be acknowledged as one of the 2024 Best Contractors to Work for in Construction award winners through a free online application process.
Selected companies will gain industry recognition and will have a unique advantage in attracting candidates.
