DHI conNextions Virtual, taking place October 20-21, 2020, will feature two days of cutting-edge education with live Q&A, on-demand content, a virtual exhibit hall, and opportunities for one-on-one and group networking.
The first DHI tradeshow took place in 1976 in New York City, and for the first time 44 years, the trade show will be 100% virtual. Over 25 manufacturers and suppliers will be showcasing the latest products and services in non-residential door and hardware. With live booth chat and meeting scheduling capabilities, attendees will be able to engage and interact with exhibitors as they would at the in-person show.
The conference program features 25 education sessions across four topic tracks: Codes, Business Management, Electronic Access Control, and Technical. Most sessions are DHI-approved for Continuing Education Points. The highly anticipated presentation, “The Future of Work in a Post-Pandemic World,” by Heather McGowan, will take place on Thursday. McGowan, a speaker, author, and LinkedIn 2017 Top Influencer on Lifelong Learning & Future of Work, will examine how economic and social shifts are unavoidable and human adaptation is the only path forward. Armed with powerful graphics and metaphors backed by deep research, McGowan will take the DH conNextions audience on a journey to help prepare people and businesses in a post-pandemic world.
Jodi Chernouski, DHI conNextions’ Show Manager says, "We understand the importance of connecting the door security and safety community, especially in these challenging times. We are excited to be able to offer a unique and engaging virtual event that will allow the industry to connect, learn, network, and discuss the challenges and opportunities in this new environment."
Next year’s event will return to a live format in Las Vegas, Oct 20-21.
